| St. John’s
During our stay in the capital of Newfoundland and Labrador, we took the opportunity to discover the green spaces surrounding St. John's by walking along various paths of the Grand Concourse. Approximately 125 km in length, the Grand Concourse is a network of walkways connecting parks, lakes, rivers, heritage buildings, etc. We started by discovering the grounds of the lieutenant-governor's residence then headed to Quidi Vidi Lake and continued on to the small village of the same name. We then hiked to the top of Signal Hill and came back down to the harbour area passing through The Battery with its colorful houses. |
